St George's CofE Primary Academy

St George’s Church of England Primary Academy is a small school with a village feel in the centre of Plymouth. They joined the Trust in September 2013 and offer a distinctive ethos in a nurturing environment.

The school strives to develop confident, resilient, positive, reflective children who love to learn, who enjoy coming to school, and through the planned rich variety of experiences on offer develop the necessary skills for lifelong learning.

Children learn about, and have confidence in, themselves as learners where they are encouraged to set goals and hold high aspirations for their future.

Along with these, the British Values of Democracy, Law, Liberty, Respect and Tolerance are promoted in school through the curriculum, collective worship and by the school council. The school is committed to serving the community and recognises the multi-cultural nature of its community, both near and far.
