Our vision for the St. Edward’s family is committed to the flourishing of every individual child, who feels heard, has a sense of belonging and is included. We want all our children to feel welcome, safe curious and supported no matter what challenges they face.

These underpin teaching, learning and provide an environment which prepares pupils as confident, resilient, happy citizens who are prepared for lifelong learning. Along with these, the British Values of Democracy, Law, Liberty, Respect and Tolerance are promoted in the school through the curriculum, collective worship and by the school council. The school is committed to serving its community and recognises the multi-cultural nature of its community, both near and far.

As an inclusive, caring Christian school where every child matters, the school recognises that all children have talents and abilities to celebrate, and a part of its role is to help them discover and develop these. Each child is valued as an individual, who through the experiences and opportunities the school provides will grow to gain a better understanding of the teachings of Jesus Christ.
