Since starting as CEO in 2017, Jo has been re-energising the organisation to work collaboratively, operate effectively and continue to grow in a sustainable way.
Jo has a very strong research informed background, with expert knowledge in Lesson Study, Inclusion and Strategic Leadership. She served on the Cambridge Primary Review Board of Directors, alongside Dame Alison Peacock and Prof Robin Alexander and is currently on the Board of the Autism Education Trust. A competent leader of rural and city schools, she has taken schools from inadequate to 'Outstanding'. Jo has written a book chapter for Routledge, "Aims into Practice" and was involved in the creation and facilitation of the Church of England National Professional Qualification for Headship.
Jo's passion is in creating environments where learning flourishes for young people and adults alike.
