St Peter's CofE Primary School, Plymouth

Our school has been serving the community here for over 100 years.

We are very proud of our school, where there is a real sense of community between the school, the surrounding area and St Peter’s Church.   As a Church school, our Christian values of love, joy, respect, hope and Forgiveness, are at the heart of what we do and are inspired by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 13:13: ’And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.’ We believe that children learn best when these values are prioritised alongside their social and emotional needs

A strength of our school is its size: we are a small school with currently 160 children on roll, including a nursery . It means we know all our children and families well and can make sure that we do our best to develop their learning in a happy, safe, secure and values -respecting environment.

We know that education is best achieved by means of a positive partnership between parent, child and school. We strongly encourage parental involvement, for example through our Parent Voice Group, and are always pleased to welcome parents in school.
