St Peter’s Plymouth is located in an area of high deprivation right in the middle of the city. Many of the children have never left their estate, let alone explored the world beyond Plymouth.
However, thanks to support from St Christopher's Operations team, and the brilliant commitment of our school staff, we provided a free residential to our pupils to Shallowford Farm. During this adventure, our children discovered where their food comes from, learned how to look after animals and took part in fun team-building activities. This opportunity was only possible through wonderful teamwork. It has been heartwarming to see our pupils gain new insights and create lasting memories from this enriching experience.
It really does show the power of us and what we can achieve when we all work together.
