Former St Marychurch Pupil has made it to British Olympic Team!

Abi Martin, formally a pupil at St Marychurch has been selected to be part of the GB Olympic Gymnastics team, at just 16. 

From the age of 6 Abi had the ambition to become an Olympian and has achieved this before she gets her GCSE results!! 

In Year 3 she had to do extra sessions training, requiring time out if school. Working with her family we agreed she could do this if her learning didn't suffer. Through true determination, Abi kept her part in the deal and continued to  work hard on her academic goals alongside her gymnastic goals.

Her dedication and hard work have continued, studying whilst travelling to competitions and training all around the country and further afield. We wish her well for the competition and her GCSEs.
