'Good' Ofsted, Congratulations St Peter's, Plymouth

Huge congratulations to the children, staff and families of St Peter's Primary School in Plymouth, Ofsted have formally announced the school's well deserved 'Good' grading following their inspection last February.

The hard work of all in our Trust community who are involved in the success of the school was recognised in the report, with the inspectors commenting "The school has maintained a relentless focus on improvement. Pupils learn an ambitious curriculum."

St Peter's joined our Trust in 2021, with an RI grading from Ofsted. Since becoming part of the St Christopher's family, there has been a unified approach to meeting the challenges inherent to an inner city school. The report noted 'Staff have an astute awareness of the need of the local community and strive hard to meet these', it goes on to say, 'Staff have high expectations of everyone. They support pupils to flourish.'
